Message from Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training

In my view, an investment in knowledge pays the best interest. It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it, so I can say that Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world. As soon as I took charge as Parliamentary Secretary, I started working on a problem called dyslexia.  The Bill was passed by the Parliament and salient features of the Bill have been implemented in schools.

I strongly believe that we should treat education as an honor and not as a burden.  Our religion also teaches us that get education even if you have to go to China.  And Allah said in His Holy Book in clear words: IQRA, Read in the name of your Lord.  That is why it is so important that we use education as a weapon and technology to take the place in the world that is needed today.  My first effort and wish is that no child should be expelled from any educational institution of Pakistan.  No child should be deprived of education due to poverty or any other reason.  No child should be excluded from education simply because they do not have the fees or have an issue such as dyslexia.  Inshallah we will bring the time soon when education will be common in Pakistan and for now this is my dream and this is my destination.
