The Basic Education Community Schools (BECS) initiative, under the Federal Ministry of Education, has inaugurated 100 non-formal schools in Karachi.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, termed the step a significant milestone in providing educational opportunities to children in underserved communities.

On this occasion, DG, BECS, Hamid Khan Niazi also addressed the gathering, appreciating the initiative and reaffirming commitment to expanding access to quality learning.
